What’s a Fix-It Clinic?
Do you have something that needs repair or mending? Fix-It Clinics are a free event where volunteers attempt to breathe new life into small broken items and clothes. These clinics take place all around the world, but are always locally organized and staffed. Clinics give people a chance to learn about mending and repairing, giving their items a second life away from the dumpster.
Do you like fixing?
If you have skills in sewing, soldering, gluing, or tinkering, we could use your help! Volunteers join us for one or more clinics and repair or mend items in front of their owners. It’s a low pressure way to give back to the community and hone your repair skills.
